1. How do I update my information?
The My Information page allows you to update your email address, password, and security questions. It
also allows you to view your POSSE Person ID, First Name, Last Name and Date of Birth that we have on file.
To update any of this view-only information, please contact your local Child Support office (see ‘Contact Us’).
2. What can I view on the Child Support Self-Service portal?
Both the non-custodial and custodial parent can view information about each of the cases to which they
are a party. This information includes, the name of the people tied to a specific case, information about
a current support order and any payment history for that same case. The payment history detail includes
the total amount of the payment processed and how that payment distributed against current support and/or
arrearage balances for the displayed Case ID. There are times when a payment is distributed against current
support and/or arrearage balances on multiple Case IDs.
3. Is the payment information current?
It is current as of the close of business the previous day, and will not reflect any activity from today.
4. Can I make a payment on the site?
Currently, no, however see ‘How to Make a Payment’ under ‘Case Information’. This page will instruct you how
to make a payment by check, credit or debit.

Acronyms | Acronym Description |
Arrears | Past due, unpaid child support owed by the noncustodial parent. If the parent has arrearages, he or she is said to be “in arrears” |
Case | The group of people associated with a particular child support order, court hearing or request for child support services. A case in the self-service portal includes a custodial parent/custodial party (CP), dependent(s), and a non-custodial parent (NCP). |
Child Support Order | The document that sets the amount of money that is to be provided by a parent for the support of the parent’s child(ren) and when appropriate, the responsibility to provide health insurance or medical support for the child(ren). |
CP | Custodial parent /custodial party – The person who has primary care, custody and control of the child(ren). Additionally, this is the person who receives the child support obligation payments. A custodial party can be a relative, other person or foster care agency with legal custody of the child. |
EFT | The process by which money is transmitted electronically from one bank to another bank. EFT payment methods used by the Wyoming Child Support Program to receive payments from an NCP include: payment by credit card or payments from a checking or savings account. See the menu option “How to Make a Payment” for more information. EFT payment methods used by the Wyoming Child Support Program to disburse payments to the CP include: checking, savings, and Reliacard. |
NCP | The parent who does not have primary care, custody, or control of the child, and who may have an obligation to pay child support. |
Obligation | The amount of money to be paid as support by a parent in the form of financial support for the child support, medical support, or spousal support. |
Warrant | A written, dated and signed instrument that directs a bank to pay a definite some of money to the payee. Also known as a check. |
