Child support services are available to the following persons, regardless of need or income, whether
or not that person is receiving public assistance or has received public assistance in the past:

In response to COVID-19, the Wyoming Child Support Program is currently not charging an application
fee.
What Do I Need to Apply?
Before you begin this application, please review Wyoming’s Child Support Program's
handbook,
which outlines the basic services provided under our program and those services for which you will
have
to seek private assistance. Should you have questions about the program, please call your local
child
support office.

How Do I Apply for "Good Cause"?
If you are receiving certain types of public assistance, such as POWER and/or medical benefits you
may
be required to cooperate with child support. However, if you believe cooperating would not be in the
best interest of you or your child(ren), you may be excused from cooperation by claiming good cause.
For more information about claiming good cause, please contact your DFS Eligibility Worker and/or
your Medicaid Eligibility Worker.
